Global Research Scholars

Global Research Scholars is a unique, research intensive study abroad program designed for talented undergraduate students of all engineering majors. The program combines a study abroad experience with the opportunity to join a research team abroad at an IPENG partner school, and present research findings in the fall at Illinois in a special symposium.

• Research project at an IPENG Partner School in Denmark, Germany, Spain, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, or South Korea
• Research Methods Course 2nd 8 weeks (ENG 199 CRN 67061 on Tuesdays, 12-12:50)
• Culture Orientation Course (LAS 291/292)
• Research symposium on campus the following fall
• All Global Scholars will be eligilbe for a $500 Scholarship
