Students must take the following DRS tests (https://www.drs.illinois.edu):
Laboratory Safety Training, Part 1 and Part 2 (valid 3 years) and
Fire Extinguisher Training (valid for 1 year), and
Electrical Safety: Fundamentals (valid indefinitely)
Then students must read and understand the ESDC Safety Policy and Procedures (Link above), and take PrairieLearn “ESDC Door Access” Test (must obtain 100% correct). This test covers everything in the present document and includes uploading PDF certificates of the above DRS training.
