Fall Semester

Embark

EMBARK gives incoming engineering freshman a chance come to campus a few days earlier than the University's traditional move-in date. During EMBARK, students have the opportunity to meet other incoming engineering students, make connections with advisors and departmental contacts, and participate in social events.

System of Success (SOS) Retreat

SOS is an overnight stay for the aspiring engineer featuring workshops given by corporate friends and alumni of MEP. This is a chance for students and alumni to network, share stories, and create mentoring-type relationships.

Mentoring Classes

Mentoring classes give students opportunities to build community, receive guidance, and have access to resources. These classes are geared towards professional preparation, professional interests, and academic adjustment.

Facilitated Study Groups (FSGs)

FSGs allow students to carry open discussions about class topics in a safe and productive environment led by a peer leader. FSGs are organized for most introductory math, physics, TAM and ECE classes.

Spring Semester

Annual Awards Banquet

MEP recognizes and celebrates the progress and accomplishments of students during the annual MEP Awards Banquet.

Spring System of Success (SOS) Retreat
