COURSES – FALL ONLY
ENG 198: First-Year Women Engineers (CRN: 69394) is a first semester, women engineering students only course to allow the students opportunities to build community, receive guidance, and have access to The Grainger College of Engineering resources. In addition to academic success strategies, the course will focus on leadership and professional skill development. This is a 1 hour, second 1/2 semester course (starts October 22, 2018).
ENG 298: Women & Ideas in Engineering (CRN: 70189) is a course that highlights the book “Women and Ideas in Engineering: Twelve Stories from Illinois”. Past, present, and future women engineering from Illinois will be discussed, along with several alumni serving as guest speakers. This is a 1 hour, full semester fall course.
