Honors Credit Learning Agreement

An Honors Credit Learning Agreement (HCLA) represents a binding agreement between you and your instructor regarding additional work or projects that you have agreed to complete in exchange  for an honors grade. An HCLA can be made for fall or spring semester UIUC courses of at least one credit hour. Pass/fail courses may not be used for honors recognition.

Steps:
1. Complete the following form and obtain your instructor's signature: HCLA Form
2. Take a picture or scan the completed form and upload here in the fall or spring semester in which you are enrolled in the course. (The fall semester deadline is September 10th, 2021).

NOTE: For documentation purposes, please keep a copy of your HCLA, including the date you submitted it, until you have received your final grade for the semester and have verified the honors grade appears on your transcript.
