About Us

i-MADE is a student organization at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign that fosters interdisciplinary engineering work in the healthcare space. Students from a variety of engineering disciplines will work alongside UIUC faculty, Carle Hospital physicians, and industry leaders to design practical solutions and expand their network. Our organization will allow highly motivated individuals to collaborate while applying their knowledge and technical skills towards medical technology.

Member Benefits


Students will be provided with the unique opportunity to utilize technical workshops and various resources to create new solutions and improve existing products in healthcare.


Students from diverse engineering backgrounds will have the opportunity to work together on high-impact projects to improve their problem-resolution and teamwork skills.


Students will be able to interact and build lasting relationships with motivated peers, medical and industry professionals, and key UIUC faculty.
