VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Kit Building for Urbana-Champaign Community

Calling WYSE LEADers & Volunteers in the C-U area looking for a way to help the community! We have heard from our partnering youth organizations that there is a need for engaging learning modules that can be done during times when internet connections aren't available or aren't cooperating. We have permission from the Dean to gather in small groups of no more than 5 at a time to put together some STEM kits that our partners will distribute to families. We will be carefully structuring this service activity to maintain physical distance and to use safety gear and sanitizer to protect ourselves and the community.

If you aren't in C-U, but still want to help, we could use some volunteers to assist with video production and translating materials into French and Spanish. If you are interested in being a part of this community service, you can do so virtually/online as well! Registration will take you to a Sign-Up Genius Survey so you can choose the position you'd like
