If you have questions, if you want to talk with someone about studying engineering, or if you would just like some reassurance that you are on the right track, the advising staff in 206 Engineering Hall (EH) would be happy to work with you. 206 Engineering Hall is also a great place to come when your life or your studies are presenting you with some difficulties. Remember, the sooner you come in, the more options we will have for helping you.

Our major objective is to create outreach opportunities for local area students in the field of Aerospace Engineering by exposing students to ideas and practices in physics and engineering. To support this objective, we aim to create projects and events that support learning and are engaging for students K-12. We intend to collaborate with the Aerospace Engineering Department, other Aerospace RSO's and local community members to improve our program content and reach new audiences. We want to foster an environment within our undergraduate and graduate student culture that encourages volunteering in local education.

AIChE is the world's leading chemical engineering professional organization with members spanning 93 countries and a variety of industries and areas of research. The organization provides networking opportunities and access to a wealth of information about the latest techniques in chemical engineering. Illinois AIChE strives to connect undergraduates in chemical engineering and related fields to these resources.

Membership Benefits
Any interested student is able to participate in most of the events AIChE hosts, such as workshops focusing on professional and academic development, general meetings, and mentor program events. However, paid membership grants students priority attendance in smaller recruitment events, the ability to attend national and regional conferences, access to intramurals, and other fun perks, such as a free AIChE tee once a year. Membership dues are twenty dollars annually, feel free to stop by Noyes 50 with any questions!

The UIUC Student Chapter of ANS aims to provide to students interested in nuclear topics opportunities to further themselves professionally through the international ANS network of scientists, engineers, and other nuclear specialists. Additionally, our chapter strives to keep its members informed and educated on nuclear topics and issues so they may act as educated advocates for the nuclear field to the public. To further expand our members' familiarity with the nuclear field, it is important to us that we regularly provide them with opportunities to tour power plants, national labs, and any nuclear-related facilities that are able to provide to interesting and educational real-life experiences.
